$87 billion request would swell deficit

From the Houston Chronicle:

The White House Monday mounted a campaign to win swift approval for $87 billion the president said is needed to protect and rebuild Iraq and Afghanistan, but some Democrats questioned where Congress would find the money.

Lawmakers of both parties indicated Congress likely will approve the request in the end.

And

The Bush request comes after he already has asked Congress to approve a number of expensive items, including a drug plan for seniors and making his tax cuts permanent.

So how the hell are tax cuts for the rich going to increase tax revenues if our economy continues to lose good middle class jobs to prison labor in China? The truth is that Bush has blown it in Iraq and blown it on the economy. Clearly, he's the WORST...PRESIDENT...EVER! And not even a very good conservative, to boot.
