Novak Freaks on the Set!

Just in case you didn't get to see it yet. From Crooks and Liars:

As has been reported, Robert Novak stormed off the set of " Inside Politics" today during a session with James Carville while they were talking about Katherine Harris.

And

He yelled " This is bullshit" and walked off the set after Carville did his usual ribbing of Novakula. Do you think the Valerie Plame affair is stressing out Bob? James didn't even give it to him like he usually does.

My buddy Shane's got some more info over at Archon of Amble if you're interested. The rampant speculation of left-wing bloggers is that Novak's outburst had much less to do with Carville's ribbing and more to do with the host's plans to quiz him about his role in the Rove scandal--apparently Novak saw a copy of Who's Who, from which he claims he first learned CIA agent Valerie Plame's name, sitting on the table during the interview; it appears that his story was about to be put to the test, and he got out of it the only way he knew how. Sounds like he's nervous about something.
