SUPER BOWL SHUFFLE

Just in case you're wondering here some thirty minutes before kickoff, I'm a longtime AFC man by virtue of the fact that I'm from Houston, onetime home of the Oilers, and current home of the usually dismal Texans, both AFC teams. That's why I'm marginally rooting for the Colts. Also, Peyton Manning is from New Orleans because his father Archie played for the Saints years ago. So I guess that's a couple of reasons. Really I don't care all that much who wins: I'm just looking for a good, dramatic game, one that will keep me on the edge until the end. I'm still sore about all those super blowouts in the 80s and 90s, and just want to see a cool game. I'm really rooting for heavy conflict, and isn't that what football's all about?

And, oh hell, here's a Youtube video for the song "Super Bowl Shuffle." Ah, memories.
