PRIDE

A couple of weeks late, but still a good thought:

The same thinking also applies to black pride, Latino pride, the women's movement, black history, etc. That is, it's about solidarity and survival in the face of oppression. Consequently, the men's movement, white pride, all these things celebrating people who already hold most of the power in society, aren't much more than rhetorically dog-piling on the oppression.

Hard to explain all that to resentful white men, though. I mean, you know, they're resentful.
