I GOT MY PICTURE IN THE PAPER
And I didn't even have to do anything illegal. From the LSU student newspaper the Daily Reveille:
Tides of Change
Swine Palace is starting this semester's theatre season with a splash - literally.
"Metamorphoses" opens Friday at 7:30 p.m. and runs through Nov. 19 in Reilly Theatre. The show features an onstage swimming pool, a new challenge for LSU Theatre.
"They've done some shows where they did some water on stage for 'A Midsummer Night's Dream,' but it was nowhere near the scale of this," said Vastine Stabler, director of marketing for LSU Theatre. "Most of the scenes and action take place in or around the pool."
And
"Metamorphoses" is based on the mythical world of Ovid. Ovid's 250 myths have been narrowed down to the 10 myths represented in the play. These myths include characters such as Myrrah, a young girl who is lusting after her father, and gods and goddesses such as a Mardi Gras-like Bacchus, Aphrodite and Poseidon.

So it's really just a promotional article, rather than a review, which I'm sure will be coming soon, but, hey, they ran a picture of me! I don't even remember the last time I scored that big. High school, maybe. For years now, I've sat back and watched while others got the glory. Like an offensive lineman, I've had to be content with simply doing a good job. But not today. Today, I am the man. Hahahahahahaha!
Okay, obviously it's not that big of a deal, and I really am content with simply doing a good job. But it is kind of nice. And we do have a good show on our hands. And I am, indeed, doing a good job, just like the rest of the cast.
So check it out:

I'm the man!!!
You know, in this shot I'm playing Morpheus, god of dreams, which is way cool because I totally grooved to the comic book version of the character, a.k.a. the Sandman, back in the 90s. It's very difficult to not by influenced by Neil Gaiman's writing, but that's not such a bad thing at all.
